Country Music Congress Coming
Country Music Star Marty Stuart (right) is involved in a $30 million project to create a Country Music Congress to be located in his hometown of Philadelphia Mississippi. Phase I of the project is nearly completed which is a major renovation of the Ellis Theater--originally built in 1926. The plan calls for a museum, musicians training center and library located in a new 50,000 square foot building The photo was taken in the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville as Kenny Vaughn is on the left.

Top: Redd Volkart plays at the Floyd Country Store as part of Honky-tonk Thursday's shows in Virginia. (Second) The Jackson Ohio Based Red Brush Band performs at the Apple Festival. The Band has performed at Many venues all over the United States. (Third): The Gap Civil Band band plays traditional and folk music in Floyd, Virginia. Four: The Open Rail Band has performed all over the nation and was the IMBA Bluegrass group of the year in 2016.
